what about greater spell penetration, doesn't it add +4 character levels to caster level checks(or is that only vs spell resistence)?

I really hope you're joking Galen. I have 15 levels of Cleric and Lesser Dispels still seem to tear me to pieces . It shouldn't be possible to dispel a single buff of mine with a Lesser Dispel (DC of 26, 11 + castor level, and the highest dispel check possible for a "lesser" dispel is 25), but ...

or you could of just taken 2 fighter, 1 at 9th, and 1 at 10th, and WooHoo, duel-wield...(and in all armour types, not just light)you can do the same with Champions of Torm.

I have never played an Arcane Archer before so if i miss the mark i apologize, but I think they get a rather good AB progression. If you are really upset about your current Armor Class, try taking Expertise as your next feat.

It's possible to do both, but it can't happen over night.
