I was mainly referring to something Trinny said a while back. About bringing up the matter before the council to debate whilst enjoying a cup o' tea, or something like that.
Whatever Brigadier Raeflyn decides when it comes to Maelstorm and his buddies we are sure to hear soon. Or so I would imagine.

You are all right. How could i have been so blind.
A sense of pupose and the strength to make all those that disagree with you is by far the best way to control and lead the stupid and ignorant villagers of Daris.
Well so be it as I have a sense of purpose and a goal that leads to the defeat of Varana and gods know the church has more power then the boots do anyday I declare the tyranical rein of the Butcher of Daris over.
Hurray no more dictatorship. From now on because we have the "military" might to force others to obey us we are installing a theocracy in town.
Sense we have declared this and have more then enough power to back it up we must be right according to palequin, raefyln and the like.
Now think for a moment what type of half ass thinking is that people?
We could kill everyone that don't like us. We could force our rule upon any who wish to live.
Unlike the Brigadier we have no need for such petty things as physical power and we unlike Palequin have no eyes on the empty throne.
Say what you will but he has acted out of his own wants and desires. he asked no one of any importance what they thought. He asked those that would not appose him. Nothing but yes men.
I refuse to obey laws made up on the whim of a tyrant and dictator.
I will not bow to any self impossed ruler just because he has a sword.

Roach, you appear to be yet another who does not know his history. The Renegades formed because they wanted no part of the law the council wished to bring to the land. It is the reason the Renegade camp is out in the forest and not under the protection and jurisdiction of those laws.
Do you really think that this stance will endear you to those whose sworn duty is to uphold the laws and defend the town against chaos and anarchy? I will say here and now that the Renegades have and hopefully will continue to be allies in the fight against Varana and the forces of corruption. However, you cannot expect anything but wariness from the keepers of the law that you chose to live outside of. Vigilantes are not well received by those who are duty bound to follow orders, codes of conduct, and beaurocratic procedure. It is simply the way of the world.

We have an agenda and I will repeat I will follow my masters.. and if intended to stay out of Council business why was Celdur an acting lord for a small length of time. Lord Nobby is a thief and Palequine is an assassin.
You haven't heard from Palequine is because he has been dethroned by this action.
The same reason you -have- heard from Nobby. He's lost his throne and he wants it back. He's a liar and a thief, more over, he fancies him above the "peasants".
I would think the Renegades would be the first to overthrow this corrupt council and join the Redboots in the reclamation of Daris.

We as Daris citizens have tolerated the undead corrupting our streets for one solitary reason. Because everyone was afraid to speak how they feel and defend their opinions. Oh....another reason. Because all of the Nergalites are OLD Dasarian Heroes and Champions of the Realms. We haven't wanted to totally anhialate our old friends and acquaintances.
I say, the time of fear be ended! Call it what you will, but Raeflyn did not officially declare martial law. He simply opened the eyes of people who all have the same ideas and feelings about this. It only takes one person to speak up. Just as it takes one person, like ARMITAGE REI to spread rumors of tyranny and Martial Law.

With regards to the sentient Undead :
Ask yourself this, are they undead? Your own answer should be mine.
I am going to reiterate the main points I feel is important to stress:
- The Council has not been disbanded, dethroned, interrupted or taken over. It remains as it was before any decree.
- The Undead are outlawed.
- This is a temporary declaration, and will be dissovled when Daris is safe and secure with a organized council and re-armed frontlines against Varana.
If I missed anything, please do me the honour of pointing it out.

This declaration has, in no way, changed the way the Council manages itself. No one has been stripped of their seat. None.
As far as I see it, the only interaction the Redboots will see between the Council is my current seat on it. That is it.
As for activity of the lords, those of Nergal claim Willow as active. Incorrect, I have not heard her for months. Palequine, Nobby and myself were involved in all deliberations without a peep from the other listed lords.
That is it on the council for this declaration.
If you really must call it that, this is Martial Law. The Redboots have taken over.
