Mae Govannen, friends.

Daelian Di'ren and myself speak on behalf of the Kingseekers as we welcome each and all of you to our lands. This conflict has robbed us all of one thing or another. Friends, comrades, land, family, but it has not drained the one thing that is common between all of us: Hope.

Your presence in this land has brought the flame of hope from a fire, to a rising torch in the blackened night. With your aid, the Kingseekers, the Redboots, the Mardukians, Utu, and all the lights of this land, we may undo the shadow of Varana.

Welcome, friends. Welcome one and all. We will defend you and fight amongst your side, one and all. Your sacrifice is well appreciated, and united, failure is but a shadow in the bathing fires of victory.

May we stand together. If you require any aid, feel free to seek out myself or Daelian. We will not hesitate to heed the call. Though, I am sure the same would go for any loyal member of our army. Luck. Estel and luck be with you.

I belive the time is upon us, a time to act, a time to drive the evil from this fair land, a time to stand and fight.

I am weary of you and your companions who have come to the town of Daris as fact my eyes have seen and ears have heard, you speak of driving evil from this place and the only ones that can save the town, yet I do not see these words holding the same meaning to the other races as they do to you and your people.

It Seems that you are not the only one who is not pleased to see us, since coming to town we have been assulated, spat apon and even urinated on. Is this how you greet people who have come to help, it is no wonder that the Varanites where able to overrun your town defences, when you sit and squabble in town amongst yourselfs, even drow walk your street.

You are right though I do Serve my Queen Ama'Ihar Tra'Avain en Rian, and shall do to my last breath, and she has ordered me to this village to bring aid to your Queen. And so I shall Serve your Queen as i would my own.

I have seen the work of the Elves of Rian before and it will only bring bloodshed to this village. You might notice that they let the knight speak his noble words but he is the only knight they have brought, look through the ranks of elves and you will undrstand my words.

I did not speak words of being displeased, but of weary. I will not speak for others minds and actions, but only my own. However, being a traveller afar to this town myself, it is odd that you and your companions have taken role of Daris guardians when an assembled introduction or notice from this lands Queen has not been given.

You would do well to watch your tongue speaking of Varana attack on Daris, those allies to your cause may feel disrespect to your gloat.

Myself will correspond no more and I look towards time my eviction comes as govern bt the task you have sworn to hold.

I'll let the captian speak to wheather any of us claimed the role of "guarians of daris".

I will coment on the lack of an anouncement about our presance.

It would be Odder to find a ruler who feels the need to anounce to every citizen of there realm every thought, conversation, audance, and policy desision said ruler chooses chooses to have or make.

Maybe your Queen is different and it is odd she choose not to make a significant investmant in time, coin and man power sending couriors to every corner of her realm posting anouncements of the arival of yet another group.

While we may feel that the arival of a group of rian elves warrent a major hue and cry thouout the land and the Queen declairing a national holiday with a full week of celebration I feel fairly confident that your Queen in fact does not share that point of view.

I could be wrong.

My good people as far as the members of our ranks, we were handpicked and chosen to compliment each other. While our commander Ferra'Vanna may the the only knight, the rest of us were chosen for our particular strengths, not that how or why we were chosen is any of your concern.
As far as to who we serve, as my commander said, our queen ordered us here to aid your queen in any way possible. Therefore our loyalty is to her and to your queen. As far as our reactions to the people of your fair village, there are a few that we do have trouble tolerating, but I have given my word that I will not break the peace of the village unless innocents are being attacked.
If you are curious about us, do come and speak with one of us. Although I am not quite used to speaking the common tongue I understand it quite well.

Our friends from Rian come from their land to assist us in these dark times. They are not here as a force of or from the Dasarian government. The Crusaders around town are here on behalf of the Kingdom, as we of the Redboot Brigade are here on behalf of the village. Well, the Barony now that Bearis Baraan has been granted his ancestral title again.

In short, the forces already here are the Guardians of Daris, the elves of Rian merely come to help, as many others have.

Queen Nelina of Dasaria did not send them here, so should not have been expected to announce their coming. At the same time, if the Queen of Rian has not sent word to the Queen of Dasaria then I should be honored to serve as a messenger to her. As soon as the road is finished, which should be soon I think.

And to my friend Fera'Vanna Rilynn'lylth,

Do not think too harshly of these Dasarians. After all, it was not people who spat and urinated on you, but Drow. And as they say, I'quelin Mori'Quessier naa ba Mori'Quessir!

The ways of men are not our ways. We of Rian strive to nurture goodness and extinguish evil. Those of Daris are believers of tolerance. An odd concept, I know. It has been difficult for me as a Guardsman to wait for evil to prove itself evil before acting. But I have done so.
I am not asking you to trust the drow and other villains in our town, I simply must ask you not to strike first within it's borders.

However, if any innocents are being harmed I will get involved no matter the consequences.
