OOC... There are very few evil characters within the 10 to 12 range. I volunteered for the event to add spice. Make it a better experience for all, dont worry it cost me dearly taking part (about 5000 gold and all my potions)... I, like the DMs never made the leap of faith to going straight onto the KOS list.

I never removed my helm and wore plain robes... I would like you to consider me in disguise.... KOS is something i have avoided for nearly a year. I have played a very political game from the start KOS would mean an end to Romar. However i would be happy for there to be rumours causing a little more friction with those there already is friction with and perhaps ONE OR TWO more whom were AT THE EVENT (caught a glimpse but arn't sure). At the moment i think there are two or three out there that don't like me that number may go up but i want it to go up slowly (I will tell you in game who i think you are and you tell me then we will know OOC).

This is a great server and a 'good' server it is tough to play evil and even harder to do it well. Just consider the fun the G'Elle have brought to you all without it ever becoming griefing... hats off to you chaps.. .

When we formed the Nergalite forum we volunteered our services to the DMs to help by playing the flipside in events. Playing the baddy means accepting we will lose before we start for the good of the story, don't make it too hard to do so else the volunteers to do so will drop dramtically.

IC
First and foremost... I am female.

Second.. I always wear a disguise (( OCc but I am happy to roleplay out any acts of revenge, as long as they are roleplayed out by people that saw me doing such evil acts)). I have killed 3 elves of Rian, Kyril and others.. for certain profitable reasons, so I have pushed my luck I suppose.

Thirdly.. to you Kin G'elle threaten me all you want but you attacked me with your cowardly traps.. me and Basil saw you fleeing into the woods for your very life.. we defeated you. You can't be a very clever or dangerous enemy.. as you have managed to get kicked out of the underdark. You Kin G'elle are but a sad creature picking peoples pockets while they talk to the shop keeper.. you should go crawl back under your rock and watch me, a true artist at my work.. amateur.

Fourthly..To you Kyril I don't live in the village, I am not a native Dasarian and you gota be able to see me to kill me... KOS means very little to me.

OOC
Winky will soon have a history posted in the stories and tales forum. She is not a murdering lunatic, but a cold calculating killer. I am only 9th level so I suppose I make a good mid level villain for all you mid levelers. Winky and Basil were bot only asked to join the event they also had IC reasons.. PS if anyone wants anyone killing.. I will do it for cash.

OOC
Thank you Joker for making it clear as I do not think we should be made EoS for playing in a DM run event.

IC
Thank you to all concerned it was great fun, expensive but fun hehe.

To Kin
Me & Winky are a pain in the ankle are we, I was not the one running away from Winky being near deaths door after our battle with you that dealt me a mortal blow. We will meet again Kin

Kin)) As I recall, the traps laid were not for either of you. Winky, expert rogue she is, didnt see them and was too slow in her reflexes when I told her to stop! *chuckles* You both seem to forget the other person in our little encounter, the half-demon Shala. The traps were intended for her. After killing both Shala AND Basil, knowing that others from the village were on their way, I recall being hunted by 8 to 10 people not long after, I beat a...............tactical retreat shall we say. *grins*
But all this is trivial, the two of you shall learn very soon to choose your enemies more wisely............
We'll see you soon........

If you and thay want to pursue it as a continuing IC thing I'll leave that to you, but they should NOT go on the KOS list for this.
You just ignore me 'cause I'm green.

I see how you are.

I thought the event was well done, though those damn fire lizards are a pain in the ass.

As for the traitors... they played the role of bad guy well. And I'm sure they made a few enemies.

Good. Backstabbing bastiches!

I wanted to chime in here, since I was there, and feel the DMs may have overlooked the large scale consequences here, but the intention was on a larger scale to provide something more to an event...which i hope was accomplished.

Even if the players did wear different outfits, it wouldnt have mattered. We still have the big colored names above our heads. Good example is from when Eowomir in a moment of madness convinced multiple players to all wear jester robes and run around town....no one bothered to ask "Who is that drow in pink and purple?" The IC response was always, "Why is Eowomir wearing that outfit?"

Do i think there should be some IC response? Yes. Do i think it should be immediately placed upon EOS? No.

Greenman took some new direction by asking specific groups to help out as bad guys, so they volunteered thier playing time to do such. If they had all decided to thwart the roadbuilding on thier own....i feel it could be an entirely different case. But i will state that if every evil player who is asked to join in on an event for the DMs to use as assistants is suddenly about to be EOS, then you will see the number of willing volunteers drop dramatically.

Even during the combat the players were talking constantly with the DMs, as to when to back off, when to strike, rules of what could and could not be done.

Overall I want to think Greenman and crew for a great event. It was a bit more deadly than i think anyone expected, but allowed for different sides to the same coin, be involved in a large game scale event.

that moment should be remembered as one of the only times without a battle going on that Nergs, Renegades, and Redboots marched around and had a good time haha

And i think i may have a screenshot of it....

HEY YOU! NO RUNNING IN TOWN! AND YOU! NO LOITERING!

How we didnt get killed or arrested, still is a mystery to me.

I just wanted to add my .02. I am also guilty of doing what he gave an example of. (I'm sure some of you read that one post with that incident that went on) I've recently decided to try to NOT look at only the name, but also at the individual player's persona (such as his clothing, weapon, familiar, etc...). Granted doing this all the time is hard because that would mean having your screen zoomed in ALOT of time to and other things. But, for some situations I feel that sometimes its worth it to not just look at the name (like when Eowomir did what Peepslayer said).

Man... you hit the nail on the head. I totally TOTALLY agree with you. These volunteers make the DMing job easier on the DM's and I KNOW we ALL want this.
