So I was looking for information on Ki, but it seems he got left out of the deity list in the world history section. Either that or I'm just blind ...

Anyone have information on Ki like how the other gods are listed? Domains, alignments, etc...

Ki
Alignment: True Neutral
Symbol: Iris.
Animal: Tiger, White Stag
Domains: Plant,Earth and Animal

The earth and mother-goddess, a goddess of fertility who created all vegetation. She is one of the oldest members of the pantheon and has prestigious titles such as 'mother of the gods' and 'mother of all children'. She is also called Nin-Hursag (the earth). Ki ensures fertile fields, but when she she caught her mate-god in an affair with the plants she created, she caused his descent into the underworld, the earth became barren. Only when the hastily assembled gods managed to mollify her, was balance restored, the earth become fertile again and the cycle of the seasons was instituted. She protects her domains well and her priests, who are Druids, help to protect nature.

Cool, thanks Cirran! That's just what I was looking for.

Question about it though. Wouldn't the animal domain fall in there to? Plant, Animal, Earth seems like fitting domains for Ki.

It would. I'll update it. For some reason it wasn't listed in the resource from which I pulled it... however, in Dasarian context it would certainly be thus.

Keep in mind that these descriptions, as well as Dungeons and Dragons descriptions, are guidelines and references rather than rules. In other words, not all gospel of the being known as Ki or Nin-Hursag that you might turn up would necessarily fit in a Dasarian context, nor would many things that you would turn up in a Dungeons and Dragons corebook.

Also, keep in mind for certain that the Dasarian pantheon is evolving just like Dasaria itself.

I always try to leave any standard DnD descriptions out when it comes to Darian Pantheon, lore, etc ... Pretty much 2 different worlds. =)

I have a list of stuff to do to update the website just as soon as I regain access. It is currently being hosted at Melthavion's office on a different system, so that should be once Jeh has his had his internet access re-enabled at his new place and the server is back up and running there.

Once this is done, I look at cleaning up some of this kind of thing. Cirran, if you could PM me the finished outline for Ki when it is done, it would be appreciated.
