Now Lilith (evil aligment) cast Bigbies grasping hand on me, and for the first time ever it didn't work on me! *shock! horror! amazed!* Something was up here, homecome that has never happened before I thought? I proceeded to cast my next buff Freedom of Movement as I thought that effected Grasping hand too. Lilith cast it again and it got me this time. We played around with it some more, cast Freedom first then Prot Evil. It still went through. We tested again without only Prot Evil and I was still immune to it.
We then tried this on Aramil, he cast Prot Evil but the spell went through this time. He removed his agility belt.... and what do you know, this time he was immune to it!
It seems Freedom does something that overrides the Immunity to mind spells. Now, I forgot to test whether other buffs affected this or not aswell, tomorrow I will. But also earlier when Trace cast Immunity to Mind spells on me, I had Freedom on and was grasping handed aswell. I dont know whether this is a bioware or Dasaria bug, but I am going to try out some other spell combonations with it and see if anything else happens. But so far I know that Freedom for some reason cancels out the Mind Spell immunity. Im not sure if it works for other mind spells though other then bigbies, as I said more testing needs to be done...
It's a rather annoying bug, but if it cant be fixed I'll just remember to not cast Freedom of Movement against mages.
