Character Bios: Lets see them here!

As long as you bear in mind that IC, Dasarians have more than likely never heard of any Forgotten Realms references you may drop in game. They will more than likely assume you got knocked on the head or something as a young child. Hell, we have even had a Klingon here and most still found a way of dealing with it.
And please, no, dont make one yourself....

What Wyvern said. I didn't mean to come across like an RPnazi here. I just don't see the point in coming to play to Dasaria in a Dasarian setting, a world that's been fleshed out this far, and then say; "hey dude, I'm playing FR and that's what it's gonna be like." heheh.
Mind you, I'm not saying you said it like that, it's an example.
From my part I just see it as a little bit of respect to the people who created the world. But then again, you may call me a hypocrite now since I play a drow, and drow never were intended to be in Dasaria in the first place, heheh.
But I entirely agree with Wyvern. Play what you wish, have loads of fun. Don't mind me too much.

Kell Dy'ner, Archcriminal of Daris
Lone Starraiser
Age: 65
Half-elven
True Name: Aeron Baelkash
Aeron was born to a human mother and an outcast Rian father, both who made their lives as thieving rogues in the lands surrounding Dasaria. In a bargain that turned ill for his parents, other thieves who had worked with his parents betrayed them, murdering them during a heist, leaving their bodies for the authorities to find. The young boy was left on the side of a road, to be found by others.
Being found on the side of the road, a human monk, Faerth Starraiser, who led the protection of a merchant train that travelled around the world, took him in. Aeron was mute at the loss of his parents, and the monk took pity on him. Not giving a name, the others in the train called him the "lone boy," being found on the side of the trail. The nickname stuck, and the boy answered to Lone ever since.
The boy remained mute for many years, serving and training with the merchant train. He had travelled the world, but his family was the train, that never stopped long enough to create a home for himself.
One day, around age 30, a dream formed in Lone's mind, instructing him to go to a certain place nearby the train's location. Setting out, Lone followed the directions in his mind and found a large tome sitting on a dais, open. As in his dream, Lone approached the tome, and in a flash of light, the tome disappeared, and Lone knew everything in that tome. It was a book of prophecy, written by the Rian, his former bloodline, many years ago. He cannot remember any of it at will, but bits and pieces come to him as they need to.
It was later made apparent that Anu was the one who guided the young merchant defender, and he later became a lowly cleric to his service. He served the ministry for many years far from Dasaria at a local temple.
At his "pap's" deathbed, as he called Faerth, the man who took him in, another vision appeared to him, distinctly translating a piece of the lore he had assimilated.
Evil bound up from four, split for evil's safety.
Evil will be vanquished when the forbidden love unites for true
And the Lady who is more reaches for the stars.
Anu instructed Lone to head immediately for Dasar, and attach himself to a cleric by the name of Mitchifer who practices in Daris, and that he will find the forbidden love, and to seek out the Lady who is more. Lone has no clue where to start looking, only that it is known to the Rian lore that this "Lady" is one who had not a title to begin with, but later gained a title of nobility through her deeds, but that the Lady is more than she allows herself to be known.
Since arriving in Daris, Lone has dreams of what he believes to be a past life, or of the past in general, he's not sure, all centered around a young, hot-headed Rian elf.
So Lone is in Daris, trying desperately to complete his tasks as they are laid out to him, knowing full well that when Anu first grabbed him, his life is not his own.
This upsets him, sometimes, because he has had so little time to lead a life all his own. Although fairly young for a half-elf, he fears that the prophecies may require his own ultimate sacrifice. He tries to live his life as best he can... but sometimes... just sometimes... he thinks of the possibilty that his burdens could be lifted...

(Disclaimer: This might contain unfriendly things.. You have been warned.. though I know this is an open invitation now for you to continue. This biography is in the form of flashbacks, simply to give you insight. The poem is mine. I must give a final reminder for the very last section--it isn't something that can be overheard
)
One by one, the sands of time did fall,
A small child huddles in the corner of a underground cavern, the scene in front of her nearly too horrible to describe. Gentle words are spoken above her, threats, promises. The child's mind memorizes what she sees, vowing never to forget the horror, and vowing never again to fight back against her guardian. Silently, she prays out to anyone, anyone who can hear--for someone to save her. How did she fall into this horrid fate?
But no one does. The Underdark echoes with her cries, and her guardian's loud, pleasured laughter.
Within the graces of the gods, He only saw,
Two bright blue eyes peeked just inside of a mostly closed stone door. Above a series of tables, simmering vials and open books lay strewn everywhere, and standing directly above a tall drow in vibrant purple robes, a ring boldly out of place on his right hand with an odd-looking yellow stone. Around him, three other drow stood, in various stances, some researching out of books, and some appearing to be attending other matters.
"This one is almost complete," one of the younger drow said.
"Good," the more prominent one said. "Give it to me." He took the vial and looked at the contents, nodding with a slight smile. "We shall give it to her tonight, and then, her power shall be mine."
Fate, however, dared to step in,
"One hundred, sixteen vials you have broken," the voice was spoken in nearly a whisper. The young woman, now a human girl of eighteen, knelt in the corner, wrapped firmly around an aged gray haired woman. "Light of my Heaven, do you know why I am going to punish you? Do you understand?"
The girl didn't answer. A resounding slap echoed through the room, as she fell to the floor, her lip bleeding.
"Make her watch," was the command.
Heaven's eyes widened and the protests immediately came out of her mouth as the gray haired woman was forcefully hauled out of her chair. What she saw next came quickly. Spell after spell came from her guardian's hands, and then--quickly--it was done. A slide of the knife. Heaven was thoroughly sobbing by the time it was through.
Magic bound to might, and sin to sin,
"You will go to Daris, find Haxley Dormagic--he is a 'friend' of mine. He will protect you, or else he will not get what he wants from me. Tell him this. If he is wise, he will not do anything else. He will not let anyone else do anything else. You are mine--your magic is mine. Do you understand?"
Heaven nodded, and answered in a whisper, "Yes, Sa'mir."
Hands grabbed her arms, and she didn't even have time to call her faerie dragon, Ecane to her side, as she was thrown out a set of doors into bright sunlight, which nearly blinded her. Looking around, she realized they weren't in the Underdark at all, but in the older section of Dasar, a city she had been in only twice before under heavy guard.
As she looked behind her, a hatred settled into her breast, and a hunger. Her magic began to tingle, as if searching for something it could not find. Ecane flew away from her instantly, as if burned.
Then the clock struck winter's noon,
"And who are you then?" A soft, almost musical voice startled her out of her thoughts. Heaven looked up to see a dark robed elf, who just exited the Temple of Anu.
"My name is Heaven," She answered quietly. "I'm--I need to get to Daris, ma'am."
The elf smiled. "Well, you are in luck, I am going there myself to check on a temple in the area..." her words trailed off, and Heaven heard nothing else until her name. "My name is Vahene--I am a Cleric of Anu."
And finally power, devoured, rose anew.
(note: this is set during the period of time a party of us entered the Alinkahar Temple to confront Jenna Blackheart)
"This place is evil," Heaven heard someone say.
"I don't feel anything," She retorted back, not bothering to turn around. Heaven did, however, hear Lone's words clear as day.
"You didn't feel anything at Anu's Temple either."
Heaven closed her eyes, and reached outwards with her magic. A slight throb, and then a sudden rush of power, almost like a hug, welcoming her home. If she wasn't with a bunch of goodly, all mighty folk, she probably would have laughed with pure joy.
It felt... like home.
Carefully, she kept any sort of smile off of her face and stared into the face of the one they came to confront. Jenna didn't seem to be a bad sort, but as she had been advised previously, one didn't need to be sloppy or careless when you were pulling off any sort of crime. It tended to rather defeat the purpose. Not to mention, a bunch of adventurers trekking around in Lord Alinkahar's temple? Yeah, that's likely to make him happy.
It was a shame, really.
The temple was nice. But, better ones could be erected.

Washed out By the Rain
The windows were smacked with rain. Madelynn looked out the window. The Whispering of Rain
When rain pounds on your head
And you do not know where to cover
When silver beads drop from the sky
And you are too cold to shudder
When the rain washes out your eyes
And leaves them pale blue after
When tears trickle down your face
And the rain trickles even faster
When your hair is dimmer from the rain
And your skin white as stone
When it rains in village main
And forever leaves you lone
When in the downpour your father is slain
And your mother is murdered
When everlasting is the rain
And you hear the rain murmur
And when the sun finally shines
Eating away the wet
The rain wipes off on the day
And misery is met.
Madelynn Donovan
Madelynn heard a voice at the back of her head.
"It is not going to stop."
"Yes it is . . . it will, I know it." She fought her misery. With her parents murdered, she was on her own.
It kept raining. For years and years. Then they came.
The Varanites captured her. She was thrown in a sack, and was driven by carriage to the Emperor.
Halfway there she escaped. She filled the sack with bread to disguise her escape.
She headed to Dasaria. Arriving in Daris, even without the rain, emotional beads of silver still pounded on her head.
She sighed. Would the sun ever shine on her?

Armitage
Having suffered the death of her family at an early age she went forth seeking vengeance upon all those that she perceived to have done her wrong. It was by an odd series of events that she was able to locate and kill all those she sought. She was able to lay vengeance upon all those involved in the death of her family.
Having no one left to vent her rage upon she turned her hatred towards the gods. How could they have let such things happen? Did they laugh at humanity as they sat on high? The rage consumed what was left of her humanity. She brought death to the priests of the gods. She brought death to all she touched. Like a flame she was burning hot and was close to burning out.
It was in her trip through Dasaria that she ran into a man named Zenthrax. After accompanying him for a time she found someone that would teach her to control her rage and hatred. And slowly he introduced her to some people that she could understand and through them she found a place to belong.
It was during this time she came to worship a god that spoke to her need and feelings. She became a priest of the one god that made sense to her.
But all was not well in her mind. As time went on the hatred and rage would eat her up from the inside. Promises of power did nothing to fill the hole left in her soul by the death of her parents and the horrible things she did. All took their toll upon her. She had become the thing she hated. She looked to control life and death. In the end she was a dealer of death nothing more.
She disappeared shortly after. None knew were she had gone.
***Years Later***
A woman in red robes walks up to the gates off Daris and stops short. Her mind runs wild at what she will find. Already the village looks different. Will they know her? Will they run her off? Will they kill her?
With a small laugh that brings coughing and blood to her lips she enters the village.

Serena
((This is not entirely IC, since it would be a freakin' novel! As it is it's probably still too long, but I thought some of you might enjoy seeing what made Serena the woman she is today. The stuff since she got to Daris has already been covered in other forums posts.
Serena’s clan was one of the oldest in the land, long considered to be leaders of the various tribes of the desert. They were strong with fire magic, and had alliances with the Djinn for centuries.
About 25 years ago, in a battle with a neighboring land, Serena’s grandfather, the leader of her clan, was killed, leaving only her mother as heir. Being traditional people, they did not want to see a woman lead them, so civil war erupted between the tribes.
A charismatic priest came to power, swaying the people into letting the church rule the land. His name was Jalil Shirazi. It seemed like a good compromise to most, leaving Serena’s clan the ceremonial head of the land, but having real power lie with the clergy.
As such things often happen, the reach of the church grew. They preached against arcane magicks, saying that it was unlawful. They severed ties with the Djinn, claiming them unnatural and evil, the source of all the peoples’ ills. Soon all magic that did not spring from the church was declared anathema, and any practitioners were put to death.
Serena’s clan were honored for their traditional leadership, and retained all lands and wealth, but had only ceremonial power. Serena’s mother, seeing how the tide was turning against the old ways, hid the ancient arcane books of magic, not wanting them to be destroyed.
One day, a traveler came to the court, a mysterious man the likes of whom the tribes had never seen. He was flame-haired, and spoke with a smooth tongue. He entertained the court with tricks, conjuring flame from his hands to the delight of all. The next day, they priests caught wind of it, and the stranger disappeared before he could be questioned.
This stranger had wooed Serena’s mother that night, weaving her tales of the North, where women had power and arcane magicks were not shunned. She conceived a son and a daughter. To cover her indiscretion, Serena’s mother invented a story of being visited by a Djinn prince in the night, who bade her carry his children. The people, when they saw the flaming hair of the twins, didn’t think twice about accepting this story. The children would have been put to death, but the people dreaded that the “Djinn prince” and his armies would destroy them for killing his children. The priests, sensing how high emotions ran, allowed them to live.
Serena’s mother was put into seclusion for her shame, only allowed her servants and her children as companions. She filled the childrens’ heads with the tales the traveler had spun for her, and regaled them with tales of the glory days of their tribe. She told endless stories of their “Djinn” father, and how the flame ran through their veins.
Serena was an extremely precocious young woman, and impatient with her limited role in society. She was a traditionalist, but knew that she had so much more to offer than just breeding sons. Suspecting that her mother had kept some relics from the past, she began a careful campaign of questions, committing to memory all that her mother revealed. Whenever her mother became suspicious of the questions, Ahman, with his great charm, would distract her.
Eventually Serena discovered the cache of arcane tomes her mother had hidden. Over months of careful study, she began to teach herself magic. She was very careful to hide what she was doing, reading at night, locked away in the highest tower or the lowest dungeon. She only revealed to Ahman, her closest companion, what she did.
One night, she decided to actually try to cast a spell. She brought Ahman to one of the towers, locked it carefully, and began to recite the arcane words. Flames shot out of her fingers, her eyes, her mouth, engulfing the tower. But instead of consuming the twins, it left them untouched. Ahman looked up, fire dancing in his eyes, and conjured flame upon his fingertips. The spell she had cast had awoken his natural abilities it seemed.
They swore an oath to keep this knowledge from everyone, knowing that to cast arcane magicks was a death sentence. Serena left Ahman in the tower, to contemplate his new abilities. Unbeknownst to them, their flames in the tower were detected….
A priest, returning from a nocturnal visit to a whore, had seen the fiery outburst and Serena leaving the tower. He reported it to Jalil, who was now the high priest of the land. Jalil made plans to seize Serena, glad to finally have an excuse to get rid of at least one of the members of the family who represented the old ways.
A guardsman in the temple, a friend of Ahman’s from boyhood, heard of these plans. At great risk to his life, he managed to contact Ahman that same night, finding him in the tower. They rushed to find Serena, who convinced them that only she should flee. Since she was the only one seen, Ahman could deny all knowledge of her magicks. Though Ahman was loathe to allow his precious sister to travel alone, she finally convinced him of the logic of it.
She readied herself to travel North, promising Ahman that she would either find allies to free her land from the tyranny of the priests, or a home where they could make a new life….
((BTW, if you couldn't guess, Serena's father was really an elf! The people of her tribe had never seen one, so calling flame-haired fire-magic-weilding children "half-Djinn" wasn't too far of a stretch. The elf was a sorcerer-bard type of guy, and was probably just interested in Serena's mother as a bed-partner. Poor guy never knew what he spawned!

Murias Senner
Dreamer; crazy; eccentric. They inspire... fear. Fear of the unkown and fear for safety. The only things for sure are those who fear and what they are afraid of.
Murias Senner is a mere man who's will has been bent, constitution mangled, and spirit completely stomped out by the unyielding sands of time until he could not be more thoroughly demoralized by everyone and everything in his entire life. One of such experiences knows nothing of how to be feared, but only servitude to life's inevitabilities.
Only to a point that such experiences he can never escape; to the point beyond the level of suffering he has long lost track of.
Enduring without bounds the power of degradation, a mere man slowly twists in his binds to reveal an unordinary power outside of himself. The power of fearlessness, to obtain what others have only in their own minds.
