I too have been visiting the theatre and am very impressed by what I saw. I can't wait to see the first bardic performance there. Unfortunately I wasn't able to be there yesterday due to other personal matters, but I will try and be there next time!

As Another of the Bardic Profession, I too vote for a Theater, if there is one where is it and on which server.

Until the called upon to play the next act...

Could it be also put into play the skills of a Bard Persuation and Perform, like for a very difficult to Impossible one could get a discount on goods being purchased.

can you imagine the bardic quests that could be associated with the Theatre?

Some examples might be:

1. (Low-level) Talk to so-and-so the bard within the theatre and you lose all your gold in your inventory. He tells you this is bard's guild membership fee. He then instructs you to play on a street corner or in a tavern until you have earned 5000 gold. (Sure, anyone can just borrrow 5 k or sell items and get the money, but most bards are role-playing fanatics and are going to fijnish the quest by performing...and collecting tips, say in a special hat he gets, like a magic bag!). This fee is paid and the bard gets some reward, (exp. and oh, a magical outfit for performing in...)

2. (Mid-level) An agency in the town, (whichever, whatever) which is unpopular needs a little propaganda spread around so as to sway public opinion to it's favor. Naturally, this would be the job of a local bard. This would probably have to be strictly an NPC-related quest.

3. (Mid-level) To support the war against Varana, The bard must find and visit the mapmaker and retrieve special paper for writing National Anthem of New Dasar...

4. (High-level) ...A special quill for writing the anthem is also needed...

I am new here so I have to vote for a Theater. It can only provide a degree of cilivized graces to the towns and cities.

Could the skills of persuasion and perform skills into the game ie for a very high to impossible DC can get a discount on items being purchased andmaybe a a greater reward.
