OK Yeah not really possible to do this in real time for NWN, but the idea still stands. I'm not sure how much info is contained in the logs but if Nergals finish more quests than any other faction then Nergals influence grows and undead spawn instead of bugs, or if more evil aligned people complete them then more creatures spawn more frequently as their influence spreads and things become harder for the village, and if some thing is not done about it (as in the good guys dont get off there butts) and if nothing is done for long enough then an event can be heald where the good vs evil faction must face off in PvP battle for the map or even for the Village itself!
Something like this was mentioned not long ago, if my memory serves me right. I think what was suggested was something like capture the flag. Oh wait I remember now, it was mentioned when Dasar was split in half with Nergalites on one side and the good on the other.

I'd like to see a few front line, war torn areas. Where constant battle is going on (not sure if this would effect the lag or not), with Crusaders, Redboots, and Dasarian soldiers are on one side and Varana on the other. A quest could work with this as well. The field commander sends your group on a mission to go behind the lines and secure some important information or something like that.

Defunct quests:

1. TThe thieves in the night - The woman inside Gnomish (NOT Peribo) who would ask you to find out what was stealing supplies from the store each night. This is the kobold matriarch quest that is below the Boar. To get below, she would give you a key. It is unaccessable unless you are a rogue otherwise. (The well is sealed and if you end up down there without lockpicking, your stuck)

2. The lost rogue - Below the Boar. Given by a rogue inside the Cutters building in Daris. Unaccessable unless you are a rogue. (The well is sealed and if you end up down there without lockpicking, your stuck)

3. The Fallen Dwarf - Below the Boar. Unaccessable unless you are a rogue. (The well is sealed and if you end up down there without lockpicking, your stuck)

4. The Merchant's Chest - In the cave on the south plains if memory serves. Uncompletable due to both the NPC that gives it (I cannot recall his name) and the key required to open it being gone.

5. Honjo's Chest - I'm not sure on this one. The npc is hidden (I won't say where) but I don't think this one works any longer. I've lsot my skill points due to promotions in the RBs, so I can't try it anyway untill I get them back.)

6. The Crypts/Daris Scout/Wounded Soldiers - The crypts give you the bracelet of Marlee. Unfortunatly, it's not very protective vs other items that can be found, so most often it is thrown away. After a certain point, you cannot re-enter the crypts to finish it for the bracelet. Each of the other quests listed here require that bracelet, therefore you can't even attempt them unless you find one - which is difficult to say the least.

7. The Temple of Druaga - I'm not certain of the status on this one, but as of late checking, it was uncompletable. I could be wrong though. Regardless, you need a LARGE and heavily armored group to simply reach it.

8. The Druaga in the Sewers - The druaga in the sewers of Daris (Under the boar) that you kill for wandering priest that normally is outside the Ramman temple in Seaside. The NPC has been gone since the sacking of the city.

9. The Rogue's Test - There (was) an NPC in the Cutter's Hall in Daris who tested you on your rogue skills. That NPC has been gone since the sacking, and the tests are unoperable.

As of now, that's all I can think of. I will wander about and see what I can find.
Holy War - two groups fighting over whos imaginary friend is better.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Wasn't it the halfling that gave it? I remember now, that quest was pretty good. Except the item in there that's shaped like a spider gives invisibilty once a day, and something else to, I think. The item you got for returning it gave some healing ability once a day...can't remember.

And I think the halfling died when we reclaimed Daris?
There was a merchant 'Ling(or gnome) near the gate to the seaside. This character was the source of two different quests. ONe was for regular adventurers and the other was for cutters. In the regular quest you had to get an item in a chest lost in the bugbear caves. He gave you the key to get in the chest. The cheststill exsists, but there is no key.

The Cutter Quest was of an evil nature, and someone usually ended up dead.

The Item in the chest granted invis once per day and Ghostly Visage once per day. If you returned the item you got an Item that cast Cure Crit Wounds once per day

If I recall rightly the claw butchered Leeto, good riddiance to him I say, was one of the most exploited quests around.

He died valiantly running away when the village was spanked by the Varanite war machine.

His head was removed from his body with a large, blunt rock and placed on a pike for all to see - a change since being so small, a lot of people tended to step on him, but lose their money at the same time.

His body was never found. Probably in the pile of corpses that was stacked in the duelling pit.

His killers are still at large.

It's been awhile since I've played, but something else that would be cool is a wizards tower with a merchant that sells scrolls and other magic items.

I know as a low level wizard there are lots of scrolls I'd like, but you only get to pick a couple at level and you have to find/buy the rest. Be nice to have a place where you could go buy some of the scrolls that you need...

Have some magic wands/staffs that sell in there too ... Be a good money sink at least. =)

I'm working on this already. May not be allowed in to Dasaria after I submit the whole darn thing but I'll put something in and let them edit the merchants to their liking. Will probably be a Wizards guild quest to just find them as well. So not just anyone can go on a shopping spree. I do think that some of the newer low level spells should be available to all with the gold to buy it and the temples should sell some basic healing and curative spell scrolls. Like Lesser restore, remove disease, and the Raise dead for a heafty fee or in the temples that worship the dead.

In my unworthy opinion, I don't think raise items should be allowed to be bought anywhere. It defeats one of the main purposes for Clerics, and anyone can stock up enough gold to buy'em. ...Unless they cost 100K plus. That's just crazy.

I saw this on another server and thought it was pretty neat, they had these items that you could earn by studying that would give you the ability of talking in another language, such as elvan. This would be accomplished by selecting the item in the inventory, which is a self usable item only might I add, and it would activate the effect, the effect is that when ever you type "/" then some text after wards, it would pop up as a buncha jibberish (which I'm guessing was just a system that would assign a letter to another letter) and beside the chat window in the game window the words "(player name) has said 'blah blah blah' in elvish toungue.

There were also languages such as animal.
