Overheard in the village of Daris...

Yestereve, the Knights of the Fist appeared again in Daris, and Brigadier Kurich E'Marduk was a Templar among them. They were arrayed for battle, and sought to address the villagers of Daris as defenders and crusaders, not as judges of our failures.

Templar Diaven told those assembled that the Knights of the Fist would assault the ruins of New Dasar in three days. This effort is to prepare the way for the coming of the King. They claim Siril's heir lives, that he is protected by thier order, and that the Kingdom of Dasaria is to be restored, with it's capitol of New Dasar our bastion against Varana.

I told him that the Kingseekers would assist the Knights in thier endeavors to reclaim that which has been usurped from the Kingdom of Dasaria.

I will strive for the restoration of our kingdom. The Kingseekers will fulfill our vow: To find the King, and do what we can to oppose the undead and thier rule over the dark half of New Dasar. I will, with arms and armor, fight in this battle, as I have always done: The presence of the undead within our borders serves Varana more than Dasaria.

However, it is not my wish to bring arms against the living: This war is a reclaimation of land unjustly warded against the living by the dead. Should any living Nergalite ally themselves with the walking corpses of the Silent Lord, I will regret the need to vanquish them, but I will lay them in the earth alongside those ghouls and wraiths who should have been at rest so long ago.

Soon, we shall have the unity to battle Varana, as one nation, one Kingdom of the living. I ask all those loyal to hope andd virtue, to compassion and honor, to the King...to rally to the banners of Light and Good, so that we may, at last...allow the sun to shine upon the Ruins of New Dasar.

May Utu bless those who will fight and fall in the battle to come.

Mes still not likes how thems were talkings.... me thinks theres will be mores to this thans youse see right nows. MEs will help peoples of village, dems been nice to mes. Mes not sure what youse war is about or why, but me knows hows invaders talk and dems sounded just likes it....

So long I make myself clear, I will fight against Varana for myself, not for Daris. I have no interest in these wars and have no intention in getting myself in the middle of one.

. Us Nergalites have fought and died in the village defending you all from the evil that stalks us daily and this is how you repay us. Well, when you have sent your best in, then the mediocre, then the pathetic of you to fight us, we shall wait reborn while Varana takes advantage of your impetuousness and raises the village to the ground

I have never had any real quarrel with the Nergalites, or any religion as is stands.

But I will breathe easier knowing that the capitol of Dasaria flies the Dasarian standard rather then that of a religion.

So is this how you want to play this game? First attack an ally, what next? find out who our friends are and attack them? So who is your next target? the LDS? the Renegades? Another allied god's followers?

We have defended the village for such a long time, now just because we do not follow your god you wish to destroy us? perhaps your god is the one you should be questioning, they did not aid us when the village first fell, now they wish to attack an ally, when the real threat still looms over us VARANA!

Perhaps when this is over and Varana has destroyed the village, and your city, then maybe, just maybe you will realize how much of a fool you all have been.

You say if we do not ally ourselves with our Lord you will let us live?
I say this, if the positions were reversed and we gave you a choice, would you take it?
