W.A.L.L.Y. test part II
The answers from the first time around were:
1. 1 3/7. Twice the half of anything is itself.
2. 0. Peacocks do not lay eggs. Peahens do.
3. 0. There is no earth in a hole.
4. The same way as short cows. (nice Mel)
5. On the side of her head!
See how out of the box thinking works!
Now, for the 2nd round!
1. In what month do Americans eat the least (for you non-Americans... I didn't make the quiz).
2. How many marbles can you put into an empty bag?
3. A butcher stands 6 feet tall, has a 46-inch chest, and wears size 14 shoes. What do you think he weighs?
4. If a duck came swimmimg down the Nile, where would it have come from?
5. How long will a seven-day grandfather clock run without winding?
As with last time the first to get all 5 right will get 1000 gold.
Last time we had a few with 4 right. Nice job Mel, the DM, and Galley Cat!
Good Luck to all!

1. In what month do Americans eat the least (for you non-Americans... I didn't make the quiz).
Least is not a food. Yeah it's just a guess.
2. How many marbles can you put into an empty bag?
1. It's no longer empty after that.
3. A butcher stands 6 feet tall, has a 46-inch chest, and wears size 14 shoes. What do you think he weighs?
Meat
4. If a duck came swimmimg down the Nile, where would it have come from?
An Egg
5. How long will a seven-day grandfather clock run without winding?
It won't work without winding.

1. In what month do Americans eat the least (for you non-Americans... I didn't make the quiz).
A month of Sunday's or February
2. How many marbles can you put into an empty bag?
1 then it isn't empty any more
3. A butcher stands 6 feet tall, has a 46-inch chest, and wears size 14 shoes. What do you think he weighs?
Meat.
4. If a duck came swimmimg down the Nile, where would it have come from?
Duck's don't swim. They float and paddle with their feet
5. How long will a seven-day grandfather clock run without winding?
Won't run without winding (you don't wind grandfather clocks they use a weight system)

I know you didn't make the quiz, but I quote the original question...Vashan the Hunter wrote:The answers from the first time around were:
2. 0. Peacocks do not lay eggs. Peahens do.
The writer screwed the pooch on that one and invalidated his own question. By his own admission, two peacocks were laying eggs...can't change the rules after the question is asked.Vashan the Hunter wrote: 2. If two peacocks lay two eggs in two days, how many eggs can one peacock lay in four days?
For the lack of a clever answer, I guess I'd have to say February, for as pointed out, it has fewer days in which to eat...although a logically faulty answer.Vashan the Hunter wrote: 1. In what month do Americans eat the least (for you non-Americans... I didn't make the quiz).
Zero...I can easily demonstrate putting more than one marble in a bag at once, simultaneously. And even if you put only one in it, it still is no longer and "empty bag".Vashan the Hunter wrote: 2. How many marbles can you put into an empty bag?
Majority rules....meat.Vashan the Hunter wrote: 3. A butcher stands 6 feet tall, has a 46-inch chest, and wears size 14 shoes. What do you think he weighs?
An egg, or the south, depending on your interpretation of the question (the Nile flows from south to north, so coming down the Nile would be heading north).Vashan the Hunter wrote: 4. If a duck came swimmimg down the Nile, where would it have come from?
Without winding, it won't run at all.Vashan the Hunter wrote: 5. How long will a seven-day grandfather clock run without winding?

Your question is flawed then.Vashan the Hunter wrote: 2. 0. Peacocks do not lay eggs. Peahens do.
If peacocks do not lay eggs, how did two of them lay two eggs in two days?Vashan the Hunter wrote:2. If two peacocks lay two eggs in two days, how many eggs can one peacock lay in four days?
In the box or out, a riddle requires consistency.
It's not easy being green.

By the way, Kell got that question right.
