He's back.

Outside the Blue Boar after closing.

"Did ya hear? That Palentine fellow is back. Apparently he wandered into town and collapsed. He was taken to that hospital place."

Another voice pipes in.
"I heard he had a collar 'round his neck, and his guts were laid wide open by the Claw!"

The first voice responds.
"Good! The man and his wench killed seven guards! AND a Captain I heard and escaped. I hope the fool dies! Be hard to find him though, said he stole a Redboot uniform!"

The second voice chuckles at that.
"Supposedly he can't die, something to do with that collar."

A third voice, this time full of authority.
"Rumors lads. Bad for the soul 'eh? Palentine was taken by the Varanites and made a slave. Thats what the collar is....word is he's said more slaves might be coming. Word is Mages need to find a way to get this collar."

The first voice breaks in.
"I heard once this whole thing is figured out that he's to be executed."

The third authoritive voice sighs then replies.
"Aye. Soon as he's been caught and the collar figured out he's to die. But...death is a thing best not spoken of so late. Best go home to your beds boys."

The two men scurry off to find their beds, the third turns, wincing at the weight of his Redboot armor, he holds his side as he limps off into the night.
