Crypts quest, can't hand it in

Have done Morin's quest twice now.. for the crypts..

Got the lotus.. tried to turn it in.. they won't take it. What happens is that after seeing the battle.. my journal isn't updating right.. so Bearis doesn't think I've finished the quest.. but I've got the lotus in my hands.. so, even though I try to talk to him and Morin, doesn't work.

Help?

Done it twice now. And, if I have to go in that crypt one .. more .. time..

This happened with me too with one of my characters, I forget who... But I just skipped it and went about grinding my own way.

Make sure you do not have any of the quest rewards in your inventory, as they can mess it up.

Don't have any of the rewards. Just have Morin's Ring, and the lotus. I know *what* you get at the end.. just want to complete the quest.

something similar happened to my character. I created a new char, talked to bearis to get work and he is asking me for the scout quest even though I am only lv 1. help?

Try getting rid of -all- quest items in your inventory.

Well, I just ran through this quest with a level 8 and I completed it without a hiccup. It was across server resets too. I wish I knew what you were all doing to break it.
