Hakpack Update - June 8, 2005

Please take a gander at the hakpack page hosted on nwvault here
Existing players may want to download the das_main2 files and extract them even if they already have them, as I have removed the trees that everyone disliked so much in the forest tileset (Back to the toothpick trees, but greater visibility)
Since nwvault has changed the format of their uploads I can't do an all-in-one installer hosted there, though an alternate source for the files will be available shortly, looking to use BitTorrent to host future updates possibly.

Please note, however, that all single females betwen the ages of 18 and 30 should direct their non-trouble related corrospondence to my inbox. This is ostensibly to lessen the load on LoFang.

I was able to get all but one file. When I try to open it I get the following error:

! H:\Neverwinter nights modules\Dasaria\das_main2part2.rar: You need to start extraction from a previous volume to unpack das_main2.hak
! H:\Neverwinter nights modules\Dasaria\das_main2part2.rar: No files to extract

Make sure you have main2part1.rar and extract that. It should auto-extract part 2 by itself.

Thanks, I think that did it. (I was missing that file).

I will try to log on later and see if I notice any blanks or odd behavior. (other than fellow players.)

As of this time, the server hasnt been updated, though it will be shortly (not sure when exactly) so you all have a bit of time to download the files before they become a necessity.

I just downloaded the New hak pack thing and installed it over my old one.....But Im getting this message when I try to go in to Dasaria " Cannot Load the Module. Missing RTequired Talk Table dasaroa_16.tlk"

....Where can I get this Table.

And Im also getting a A window when i go on Multiplayer to update NWN, But Friend told me not to cause it wouldnt work with this server?...Should I update it?

Download this file and choose "save to disk" then click Ok. Make sure it goes in your C:/NeverWinter/NWN/tlk directory. NOT your hak folder.

As far as the Neverwinter 1.66 update goes, we havent updated yet, so as your friend said, do not update yet. Keep clicking No until the server tells you you have to upgrade. We will also post here in the forums letting you all know when it has been upgraded.

Actually, now is as good a time as any...I will make another post in general, and get the update done now.

...I put in "dasaria_16.tlk" And I went in, And now it says I need:

"das_npc_001.hak"
"das_item_001.hak"
"das_2da_016.hak"

Were can I find these Files?

I cannot find this folder in my NWN folder. Does it go by a diferent name in the Never WinterNights Platinum? I need to download the Tlk file and then I'm back.

To my knowledge, in Platinum, the folder did not exist with the standard install.

I had to create the folder to place the TLK files in for it to work.

Hopefully that helps.

My dad already had NwN on the computer before I got my own Platinum, so it was already there

Hello hello *grins* longtime no see, i was just readin some posts here (i know, been a loong time) and noticed this one, i though that i could give you folks some advice even if you dont really need it.

If you want to make a one file executable file with all dasarian material on it and host it on ign.com, all you need to do is contact Maximus (at ign.com ofcourse *winks*) and answer a few questions for him (such as: "what is the file name?" how large is it?" can you upload it onto this adress xxxx.xxxx.xxx?") and then you will be all set and hopefully it will be a lot easyer to DL for those that can DL bigger files *smiles once more*.

PS: dont let Maximus tell you that it cant be done, he accepted my 1200Mt
Upload for content material, he will surely accept Dasarias Haks aswell.
