Bazthic had spent several nights traveling with haste to Dasar, stopping only once at Hunar’s for the night. After a mostly uneventful trip, he arrived in Dasar and made his way to the Kingseeker’s tower.
As he neared he spotted the two guards at the entrance to the tower.
“Afternoon Captain, what can we do you?” the one on the left asked.
“I require an immediate audience with Master Flin. Please tell him I am here.” Bazthic replied.
“Of course Captain.” The guard motions and the other guard disappears into the tower.
A few moments later the guard returns and says “Master Flin awaits you, top floor, far door Captain.”
Nodding to the guards, Bazthic makes his way to where Flin is. Upon entering he hears a dwarven bellow and cant help but laugh as his brethren’s greeting. He smiles at Flin and gives him a dwarven hug.
“How have you been Flin?”
“Keepin’ well, just busy is all.”
“You know why I came right?”
“I be guessin ye came fer ole Hafur’s Axe?
“Yes, it is but one piece of two ancient dwarven symbols of strength that we must recover. Once I have possession of Hafur’s axe I can summon enough dwarves to fortify Dragonwatch, full dwarven unity wont happen until we locate and get the shield.”
“Aye, I’ll get it fer ya.” Flin heads to the back of the room and removes the axe from is holdings on the wall, he then returns to Bazthic and hands it to him.
“Here ye go brother, ye be able to get some dwarves over to Falson with that.” Flin said with a smile.
“Thank ye Flin, this is but the start for us dwarves”
Bazthic, after saying farewell to Flin leaves Dasar and makes haste to his home of Safehold, where after a brief stop, he makes his way to the other nearby clan strongholds and with the help of the relic axe, he gains the help of several dwarves and they make their way to Dragonwatch, plenty of ale, song and weapons to deal with any threats they may encounter.
