Tales and Stories Submittals

Anyone want to help me do a LOT of readin'?

It's a simple project. I need anyone who's willing to read a certain amount of pages of the Tales and stories section. We record any stories that have extensive reference to Locales of the Dasaria map, religious observances, NPC info, Historic events that would pertain to the background of the world of Dasaria. Maybe people would read them and know more about the mythology and history of the campaign.

After we have a good list(I imagine there are about thirty titles), we examine those choices for good descriptive stories or passages from stories.

Shalandra? Anyone? We can take our time with this. Maybe we'd need an OOC Loremaster user-group?

Will we be looking at just the Tales and Stories section or combing the whole swamp?

I think I will try to set up a purely OOC Loremaster user-Group. this would be for players who are hip to Dasaria's mythology and interested in helping with this project or becoming truly versed in the classics.

We can organize this thing there. I'll auto-invite Shal, Boon and Mad Season. Anyone else interested, just PM me or post here.

I've invited those players who responded to this. Thank you. I think it will be fun. Once again, thank you Jehannum for encouraging writing in Dasaria.

I hope this project to add to the "World Background and Information" section will enrich the Dasarian campaign. Look for more mythology in the coming weeks.

Actually, I've found myself scouring the various threads in every forums during any and all of my freetime, whether I'm working at the library and sitting at the computer, or just have good ol' freetime. It's nice to read the stories the players write, and what goes in in the OOC and General topics as well, but I am especially interested in Dasaria's history and pantheon and other great information that makes the world more imaginative and associative with common real-world knowledge (ie. the constellations and civilizations of the continent, etc.). Throughout my years roleplaying here, I have just now realized that it is world information such as this that makes Dasaria more enjoyable. If I can be useful in any way, I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider allowing me to join this user-group. I am, as Holly said, truly "hip to Dasaria's mythology and interested in helping with this project or becoming truly versed in the classics." As a plus, I think a bard/loremaster character will be coming to Dasaria soon.

I could not find the "Loremasters" in the Usergroups, so I am assuming this usergroup is gone.
